Tasmim.tech is a digital platform dedicated to advancing architectural design through computational thinking and smart technology.
Founded by architects and technologists, our mission is to empower designers across the Arab world with the tools, skills, and workflows needed for the future of architecture — from parametric modeling and automation to digital fabrication and environmental analysis.
We offer customized training, project consultations, and hands-on workflows tailored to the evolving demands of architecture, engineering, and construction. Whether you're a student, a design firm, or an independent architect, we’re here to help you turn ideas into intelligent, buildable solutions.

Founder
I’m Zaid Marji, a computational designer and façade consultant based in New York City. My work sits at the intersection of design, technology, and making — from developing custom Rhino/Grasshopper workflows to exploring robotic fabrication, structural optimization, and large-scale 3D printing during my research at the University of Michigan, where I earned dual master’s degrees in Architecture and Digital & Material Technologies.
Over the years, I’ve contributed to academic research, industry innovation, and teaching, guiding graduate students in advanced design and fabrication workflows. I’m especially interested in reinterpreting Arabic patterns and construction heritage through parametric logic, creating new ways to reflect culture in contemporary design.
Today, I’m building Tasmim.tech — the first Arabic-language platform dedicated to parametric thinking, architectural technology, and design innovation. Through structured learning tracks — Foundation, Professional, Maker, Sustainability, and Innovation — my mission is to help young engineers and architects bridge concept and construction, and embrace the tools shaping the future of our built environment.
